Additional Information For Authors
Editorial
Process
Each academic work
published by the Press will be subject to a rigorous process of peer evaluation
by three or more scholars, including the editors and members of the editorial
board (if one is created). The Press guarantees that each work will be
subjected to blind peer evaluation by one or more outside readers. The
author will be entitled to written reports of each blind evaluation. (More
blind evaluations and/or written reports are available by arrangement with
the Press.) If the manuscript is recommended for publication subject to
revision, the author will be allowed to respond to these reports, revise
the manuscript, and resubmit for final evaluation and publication.
Non-academic works will also be subject to blind peer evaluation by one or more members of the editorial board or outside readers.

The Press commits to
produce works of the highest technical and aesthetic quality on acid-free
paper. Its goal is to keep as many fundamental works in print as possible.
1. Each final manuscript
will be submitted as camera-ready copy (subject to approval by the editors)
or in computer-readable form (MS-DOS/Windows or Apple).
2. Manuscripts
that are typewritten or in some other non-computer-readable form may be
converted to computer-readable form by the Press as a fee for service (schedule
of fees available upon request).
3. If
extensive English, stylistic, or technical editing is required by the editors,
the author may make arrangements for it subject to the approval of the
final manuscript by the editors. If the author so wishes, editorial services
may be provided by the Press as a fee for service (schedule of fees available
upon request).
4. The
Press may specify guidelines for preparing a manuscript, including recommended
style, fonts, format, transliteration, scholarly apparatus, and other features
of the final camera-ready copy.
5. Works
published by the Press may require a subvention by the author or a third
party. The subvention is subject to negotation between the Press and the
author.
6. The
Press may pay royalties at a rate to be negotiated between the Press and
the author. If the author has paid a subvention, a different rate of royalty
may apply.
